Born in Richmond, Virginia, I have had an interest in photography my entire life. I received my Bachelor of Arts in film from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. My photographic eye has always been focused on naturalism, documentation, and fine art. This interest in imaging has lead me to work on film sets for the likes of "HBO" and "Disney"; shooting events, documentation, landscape, and nature photography for companies such as "Norwegian Cruise Lines", and "The Virginia Film Commission"; and also writing and shooting photojournalism pieces for "Daegu Pockets" and "The Korea Herald". I have also received accolades for my written essays on film criticism, my poetry and for my participating strips for the "Tiger and Bear" comic strip featured online and in print in "Daegu Pockets," "The Korea Herald," "Expacked," "Seoul Style," and "The One Four." I am available for hire as a freelance, contract, travel, and nature photographer or as a consultant.

"Last Chance to See" by Douglas Adams
I have taken my cues from this book, and it is my hope that I will be able to see what remains of what Douglas saw over twenty-years ago. This is my own personal Lewis and Clark trail. I have already tried to see the
"Yangtze River Dolphins", sadly they are already gone. But the Komodo dragons are still here! And thanks to the support of international travelers the dragons and Komodo have been listed on the list of the new wonders of the world and the island is now considered a wild life preserve.
